The great thing is that you can set a timer for it to turn off. So go ahead and purchase a nice set of rechargeable batteries to save you money now. But so thankful they didn't try to make it a wall plug chargeable. Not a good idea with babies that leak and have other items that can leak. So batteries that are sealed off are a blessing but just make sure you have some ready and spare on hand.
