While it may come at a higher cost, it boasts superior design elements, such as a magnetic peekaboo window, a customizable handlebar, a zippered storage compartment, and a user-friendly foot brake. It also offers the convenience of swift and effortless folding.

Set-Up

Neither of the running strollers posed a significant assembly challenge, but the Thule Urban Glide 2 impressed us because it arrived almost fully assembled. We merely had to insert the wheels, and it was ready to go. In contrast, with the BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0, a few components needed to be folded into position, and we had to attach a screw to the front wheel. Nonetheless, all the essential tools and components were thoughtfully included in the packaging.

Aesthetics

One of the primary selling points of the Thule Urban Glide 2 is its visually appealing design, complemented by considerate features that are highly valued by runners. We gave it top marks for aesthetics, crafted with sleek aluminum and cool-toned polyester fabric for a contemporary appearance. Notable features include a zippered storage compartment, a canopy with a magnetic peekaboo window, and an ergonomically designed handlebar complete with a hand brake. We appreciated the security provided by the padded five-point no-rethread harness, as well as the practicality of the removable seat and canopy covers, which can be hand-washed as needed. Although the cargo space can accommodate the essential items you'd require during a jog, parents should take note that it may not accommodate a larger bag. In essence, it strikes a harmonious balance between being "basic but functional" and "packed with extravagant extras."

Though not quite as elegant as the Thule, we were still highly impressed with the design of the BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0. It offers the convenience of a one-handed seat recline for your child's naptime. It also features a generously sized canopy with a peekaboo window, ensuring you can easily check on your little one while providing UPF 50+ sun protection. Moreover, this stroller features an adjustable padded handle, allowing adults to customize it to their preferred height. We did find the foot break a bit challenging to engage or disengage at times, especially in hilly areas. It’s also worth noting that fitting a larger bag into the cargo compartment may prove to be a tight squeeze.

Maneuverability

Locking the front wheel is the safest way to run with a jogging stroller, according to experts. This keeps it from swiveling around and causing an unexpected turn. On the other hand, if you’re simply walking or trying to push your stroller through a crowded space, an unlocked front wheel is far more convenient. We felt the BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 handled quite smoothly with its front wheel unlocked, maneuvering easily and comfortably around tight turns. Running with the wheel locked felt smooth and stable. We also loved the easy twist knob near the front wheel that lets you adjust the alignment if the stroller starts to pull a bit too much in either direction. With the Thule Urban Glide 2, we noticed a little bounciness on rough surfaces, but that was quickly remedied by simply locking the front wheel, making it super stable and easier to maneuver than many of its competitors. Overall, the Thule’s handling was quite smooth, lightweight, and easy to navigate, even with just one hand.

Fold

A good jogging stroller should also be easy to collapse, especially since you’ll probably be hauling it in and out of vehicles or storage. A simple lift, turn, and flap push was all it took to tuck away the Thule Urban Glide 2. You can even do it pretty easily with only one hand if you know the steps (just take a little peek at the manual). The Thule also gives you the option to make transport and storage easier by allowing you to detach the rear wheels with just the push of a button. 

The BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 had a more laborious folding process. There were multiple steps involved just to collapse the stroller (lock the brakes, press levers, push forward, pull up, secure the buckles, etc.). Once it’s folded, the stroller still takes up quite a bit of space – not ideal if you need a compact stroller to fit your trunk or storage space.
